About My Ears Are Open
I started producing the My Ears Are Open podcast in January 2009. The idea was simple: from the performers perspective, what lessons can composers learn from the musicians who are our biggest advocates, and how can we make these relationships stronger?
Every two weeks you can expect to hear new stories from the people who have devoted their lives to performing contemporary music. I ask them about working with composers, if they have any advice for us, and what they have been listening to that they are excited about.
Now, with the addition of this new site, I will be able to bring more content to you and make it easier for you to be part of the conversation. Please be in touch if you have any ideas for the podcast or the blog.
I hope that you find this to be a valuable resource.
